Have you prayed for your priest today?

Upcoming Kneeler Pilgrimage Locations

We invite you to pray in a special way for Deacons Christopher William Angermeyer,  Anthony del Cid Lucero, Nicholas James Kramer, Kolbe Raymond Murrey, Andrew Jeffery Templeton, and Joseph Gerard Yellico as they prepare to be ordained to the Holy Priesthood for the Diocese of Charlotte next June.

In the next few months, our “Kneeler Pilgrimage” will begin again as six handmade wooden kneelers visit parishes around the diocese.  The kneelers will stay in each location about one week, and information will be posted in your bulletin. Please take a moment to pray on the kneelers for the deacons. There will be prayer cards and journals in which you can write messages of encouragement and well wishes. The kneelers and journals will be given as gifts from Mary’s Sons to the men at their ordination.

We will post dates and locations as they are confirmed. Please check back!

“Pray much for priests because we need holy priests. The holier the priest, the more holy we religious will be. Then too, the more holy will be the families who are longing for God. If we have holy families, we will have many holy vocations.” – St. Teresa of Calcutta

Thank you to all who came to pray on the kneelers at the locations below for our seven new priests who were ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Michael Martin on June 15, 2024!  Please remember them in your prayers as they begin their ministry!
