The Poor Servants of the Mother of God first came to the United States in 1947. With little more than a dream and a whole lot of faith, the Sisters opened a 22-bed nursing home in the convent where they stayed. Seven decades later they are still here. There current work is now in High Point, NC at Pennybyrn at Maryfield. This is a Continuing Care Retirement Community providing independent living, assisted living, memory support and nursing care all within the same complex.
